An Iowa City man was taken into custody after allegedly getting upset at a woman who attempted to go around him as he was crossing the street.
Police say just after 3:30 Thursday, 33-year-old Sean Christopher of Catskill Court was crossing at the intersection of Muscatine and Arthur streets when a vehicle attempted to go around him. This reportedly angered Christopher and he threw an object at the vehicle, cracking the windshield.
When the driver confronted him, Christopher allegedly threatened to slap the woman, then threatened to stab her.
Christopher was arrested and charged with 4th degree Criminal Mischief and 2nd degree Harassment. If convicted on both counts, he could be sentenced to up to 13 months in jail.
