Swisher firefighters are reminding the public that they have training burns scheduled for Thursday near Shueyville.
A post on the Jefferson Monroe Fire Department Facebook page notes training burns will run all day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. along 120th Street east of Shueyville. While roads will be minimally impacted, firefighters ask drivers to keep an eye out for signs and equipment. They also remind residents not to stop their cars to watch or take photos in order to keep traffic moving.
