A Waterloo man was arrested this week for his alleged role in a North Liberty robbery earlier this year.

Police say the incident occurred the afternoon of March 29th at the Kum & Go on Heartland Way. 24-year-old Treyshawn Labeaux reportedly picked up 22-year-old Isaivion Labeaux, also of Waterloo, and drove him several hundred feet from the store. Treyshawn waited in the vehicle while Isaivion crossed a field, entered the store, committed the robbery, and ran back to the vehicle.  The two then drove off.

Surveillance cameras were able to get the plate number off the vehicle, and the registered owner confirmed Treyshawn Labeaux was driving the vehicle at the time of the robbery.  Additionally, surveillance video from another store captured him entering and leaving the area with the same vehicle spotted at the robbery earlier in the day.

Isaivion Labeaux was taken into custody last week. The Labeaux’s are each charged with 2nd degree Robbery. If convicted, they each face up to 10 years in prison.
