A pedestrian has been killed in an accident in Fairfax.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Fairfax Casey’s at about 9:00 Friday night. First responders arrived to find a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on Williams Boulevard. The male who was hit died at the scene.
The identities of the victim and the driver have yet to be released. The driver was not injured, but was still taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
The accident remains under investigation.
