A Solon convenience store employee is accused of stealing hundreds of dollars in lottery tickets from her employer.

38-year-old Traci Cunningham of Marion was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 1:45 Friday afternoon. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says Cunningham is seen on security video taking and scratching off lottery tickets while she was working at RJ’s Express on South Market Street on July 25th and 26th. Investigators say she cashed in the winning tickets and discarded the losers. The total loss to RJ’s Express is estimated at $757.

Cunningham is charged with Theft of Lottery Tickets and 5th Degree Theft. If convicted on both charges, she faces a maximum of over five years in prison.
