University of Iowa officials have identified the man found dead outside the Hydraulics Lab on Riverside Drive last week.
A news release from the UI indicates the man was 44-year-old Gabriel Molitor of Iowa City. Molitor’s body was found on the building’s north patio…between the Hydraulics Lab and the Burlington Street Bridge…at 7:15am last Wednesday.
Based on preliminary investigation and assistance from the Johnson County Medical Examiner, no foul play is suspected.
No further information is being released at this time pending results of the Medical Examiner’s autopsy report.
