Iowa men’s basketball player Amarion Nimmers has announced on social media that he’s returning to the Hawkeye program. Nimmers originally entered the transfer portal earlier this month.
The former Rock Island High School star wrote on social media Saturday; “After weighing my options and talking to family and friends, I think it is in my best interest to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Iowa.”
The freshman guard redshirted last season…his first with the program.
