Allegedly rolling a marijuana blunt right in front of police during an investigation has led to the arrest of a Coralville man.

Iowa City Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Bittersweet Court just before 3:30 Sunday morning for a complaint of 40-50 people having a loud party and making threats. Many of the subjects appeared to be juveniles.

While police were in the parking lot of 2400 Bittersweet Court conducting the investigation, 18-year-old Tasean Henderson of 10th Street Place allegedly rolled a marijuana blunt right in front of several officers.

A check of Henderson’s person reportedly turned up another driver’s license that made him appear to be over the age of 21.

Henderson is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
