A Coralville woman accused of providing guns to a convicted felon has been arrested in Washington County after allegedly skipping multiple court dates.

Washington County dispatch records show 36-year-old Natalie Denlinger of 21st Avenue Place was arrested after a vehicle stop just before 1:30 Monday morning on Highway 22 between the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort and the Iowa River. The Washington County Sheriff’s office says Denlinger was wanted in that county for failing to appear at an arraignment for a Possession of a Controlled Substance charge.

Denlinger also had two warrants out of Johnson County. One was for failing to appear at her trial on two charges of failing to give her dogs rabies vaccinations. Coralville Police say her two Chihuahuas were at-large when they bit somebody just after 11:45am on November 2nd of last year near the intersection of 9th Street and 22nd Avenue.

Denlinger was also wanted for failing to appear at a case management conference on a charge of Giving False Information for the Purchase of a Firearm. In November of 2022 she allegedly illegally purchased three firearms for a North Liberty felon. A search of her then-Johnson-Muscatine Road residence reportedly turned up evidence of marijuana use, despite Denlinger signing ATF paperwork with Scheels indicating she was not a user of illegal drugs.

If convicted on the Johnson County charges, Denlinger faces a maximum of over five years in prison.
