Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that has sent one person to the hospital.
According to a release from the CRPD, officers and Investigators were called the 1100 block of 32nd St NE at approximately 10:54p.m. for the report of shots fired. They discovered a home had been shot several times and a victim sleeping inside was struck by one of the bullets.
The victim was treated on-scene and transported to a local hospital and reported to be in stable condition.
