With over six months before the Iowa Republican Caucus, presidential candidates are making the state a priority as they travel the country to drum up support.
Former Vice President Mike Pence will walk in the Urbandale 4th of July parade Tuesday, followed by a meet and greet in Boone. He also plans stops in Sioux City, Sioux Center, and Lemars. He also plans stops in Ida and Pottawattamie counties this week.
Florida governor Ron DeSantis is not yet scheduled to visit, but first lady Casey DeSantis will join governor Kim Reynolds to launch “Mamas for DeSantis” Thursday in Johnston.
North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is in the state today, walking in the West Des Moines Independence Day parade.
And former President Donald Trump will be holding a rally Friday afternoon in Council Bluffs.
