A North Liberty man has been arrested after his alleged involvement in multiple spray-painting incidents throughout the city.
According to the arrest report, 20-year-old Omar Ramirez-Aguilar of Holiday Lodge Road either spray-painted or assisted juveniles in the organizing of spray-painting multiple locations throughout North Liberty. They included structures and electric boxes owned by CRANDIC railroad.
Officials say the cost of removing the vandalism, which occurred between March 7th and April 12th, ranges from $1500 to $10,000.
Ramirez-Aguilar was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with 2nd degree Criminal Mischief, 6th degree Railroad Vandalism, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. If convicted on all counts, he could be sentenced to over six years in prison.
