The Iowa City Police Department has set up an online feedback site for community members.

In a release from the city, the site has been set up as part of the Iowa City Police Department’s ongoing efforts to maintain the highest standards of policing and public service.

The community is encouraged to provide feedback on ICPD’s quality of service, policies, and procedures.

The feedback page can be found at https://cimrs2.calea.org/483

A link to the public comment portal will also be maintained on the Iowa City Police Department homepage at  www.icgov.org/police .

The release also states that the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, or CALEA, awarded the city accreditation for the seventh time in March 2021. CALEA’s mission is to improve the delivery of public safety services by maintaining a body of standards that covers a wide range of up-to-date public safety initiatives, establishing and administering an accreditation process, and recognizing professional excellence.
