A North Liberty man has been implicated in sexual assaults that happened during two separate home invasions.

KCRG TV reports the first occurred on March 10th at a Waterloo residence. Police were called on reports that an unknown man entered a woman’s apartment and sexually assaulted her. A month later, on April 10th, Cedar Falls Police were sent to a residence on reports of burglary. They learned that a man entered the residence and sexually assaulted the lone resident.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Criminal Lab were able to use DNA taken from both crime scenes and match them to 25-year-old Asante Walker-Garcia Adams of North Liberty.   He was charged with two counts of Sexual Assault in the 2nd Degree and two counts of Burglary in the First Degree. If convicted on all counts, Walker-Garcia could be sentenced to up to 100 years in prison.
