Iowa City Police have arrested an additional suspect in the large fight that occurred last weekend outside Bardot.

According to arrest reports, a fight involving over ten people started outside Bardot just before 2 am May 6th and spilled into South Gilbert Street. 20-year-old Antonio Montelongo of West Liberty was allegedly captured on bystander video chasing other subjects and throwing punches. The footage reportedly shows Montelongo engaging other combatants after running his first opponent off.

The man was identified by multiple witnesses on scene and his presence was confirmed by an unnamed co-defendant.

Montelongo was arrested Thursday and charged with Participating in a Riot, a Class D felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.

He joins Lake Newton of West Liberty and Victor Torres-Molina of Iowa City, who were arrested for their participation in the melee on Wednesday.
