University of Iowa graduation ceremonies to be held this weekend

It’ll be a busy week for University of Iowa students, who are wrapping up finals and getting ready to move out of the dorms for the summer. It’s also graduation ceremony week, with several schools graduating at Hancher Auditorium and Carver Hawkeye Arena starting Thursday.

Thursday:
10:00 am: College of Pharmacy at Hancher Auditorium
3:00 pm: International Student Graduation Celebration at Graduate Hotel
4:00 pm: College of Education at Hancher Auditorium

Friday:
11:00 am: Graduate Doctoral Commencement at Carver Hawkeye Arena
2:00 pm: College of Law at Hancher Auditorium
6:30 pm: Carver College of Medicine Doctor and Masters Commencement at Hancher Auditorium
7:00 pm:  Graduate Masters Ceremony at Carver Hawkeye Arena

Saturday:
9:00 am:  College of Liberal Arts/Sciences (pt 1) at Carver Hawkeye Arena
9:00 am:  College of Nursing at Hancher Auditorium
1:00 pm:  College of Liberal Arts/Sciences (pt 2) at Carver Hawkeye Arena
2:00 pm: Carver College of Medicine Associated Medical Sciences at Hancher Auditorium
2:30 pm:  2023 Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick Stadium
3:00 pm:  Virtual Commencement Ceremony
5:00 pm:  Tippie College of Business Undergraduate Ceremony at Carver Hawkeye Arena
6:30 pm: College of Public Health Ceremony at Hancher Auditorium
7:00 pm:  Theatre Arts Commencement at Theatre Building

Sunday:
12:00 pm:  College of Engineering Undergraduate Commencement at Carver-Hawkeye Arena

Keep in mind that traffic before and after the ceremonies around the sites will be heavy and you should plan accordingly.

The MBA commencement will be held May 20th, and the College of Dentistry wraps up the commencements June 2nd.
