Plane crashes in Buffalo over the weekend

A single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing in Buffalo Iowa over the weekend.

KWQC TV reports that the city’s Police Department and other agencies were dispatched around 1:40 am to  West Front Street, also known as Highway 22. The plane had an engine malfunction and tried to land on the street when one of its wings clipped a telephone pole and crashed onto railroad tracks.

Neither the pilot or the passenger were injured; however they were seen by medical personnel before being released.

No other information has been released.
