An Iowa City woman with a history of drug convictions was arrested after substances found at her residence during the execution of a search warrant tested positive for narcotics.
The warrant was executed on February 9th at the Erobi Lane residence of 26-year-old Orlanda Littlelight. Officers reportedly located various items with methamphetamine residue on them, over three grams of psilocin and various drug paraphernalia. The meth and psilocin were confirmed by the state Department of Criminal Investigation lab.
Littlelight has prior drug convictions from incidents in July and November 2021 and February 2022.
A warrant was issued for her arrest on Monday; she was arrested that afternoon and charged with two Class D controlled substance possessions, Keeping Premises for Controlled substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. If convicted on all counts, Littlelight could be sentenced to up to over twelve years in prison.
