The final forum is set for Sunday afternoon for the public to hear about and comment on a proposed municipal water system for the city of Swisher.
Officials with the Jefferson-Monroe Fire Department, which is based in Swisher, say the Fire Protection Rating for their district is a “9” for structures within five road miles of the fire station and a “10” for those beyond. “10” is the worst possible score, with a “1” being the best.

Sunday afternoon’s final forum is set for 3pm at the Swisher American Legion. The public vote will be held on March 7th.
