North Liberty man accused of vandalizing vehicle outside Iowa City restaurant/live music club

A North Liberty man faces charges that he caused thousands of dollars in damage to a vehicle parked outside an Iowa City restaurant and live music club.

18-year-old Jayden Massey of Parkview Court was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 11:45 Wednesday night. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says another suspect in the case reported that Massey was the mastermind behind vandalizing a car in the parking lot of Wildwood on Walleye Drive just after 9:30pm on December 1st. The total damage was estimated at $7,500.

Massey is charged with 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, a Class D Felony punishable by a maximum of five years in prison.
