Cedar Rapids Police make arrests in connection with December shots fired incident

Cedar Rapids Police arrested two individuals over the weekend following investigations into a December shots-fired incident.

In a release from the city’s Department of Public Safety, 19-year-old Jesse Scott was arrested on Sunday, and 19-year-old Jaden Hodges was arrested on Saturday.

The incident occurred on December 2nd just before 1:10 am.  Cedar Rapids Police were called to the 300 block of 18th SE following reports of shots fired in the area.  Officers and Investigators found a home that had been struck by gunfire.  No injuries were reported to the occupants.

Scott was booked at the Linn County Jail on warrants for Intimidation With a Dangerous Weapon and       Accessory After the Fact. Hodges was charged with Accessory After the Fact.

The release adds further arrests are expected in this case.
