The Executive Director of the Iowa City Community School District Foundation has resigned.
According to a district news release, Susan Brennan has announced her plan to step down effective June 1st, 2023. Brennan began work with the Foundation in 2012 by leading the EveryClassroom Technology Campaign that raised $2 million for local schools. Since Brennan became Executive Director, the Foundation now raises funds to support scholarships, grants, and programs that touch all of the district’s 29 schools.
A national search for the next Executive Director will launch on January 3, 2023. Details are forthcoming on a farewell event to be held at the end of the academic year.
