An Iowa City man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after an alleged assault on another man.
Police say 18-year-old Kaden Leech is captured on surveillance video walking up to the victim. When the victim sat down, Leech reportedly kicked the man over and over. The video goes on to show the victim lying defenseless on the ground, but Leech kept up the assault.
The victim sustained a cut to his face, and told officers his body hurt. Leech allegedly admitted to kicking the victim while he was on the ground, but only to scare him. Leech then went on to say that the victim told him to beat him up.
Leech was charged with Willful Injury causing Bodily Injury, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.
