A Keota man with a history of allegations of exposing himself has been given a two-year jail sentence after reportedly exposing himself to a teenage boy.

Online records show 26-year-old Grant Hill of Keota entered a guilty plea on Monday to an Indecent Exposure charge. A second such charge was dropped. On Tuesday, Judge Paul Miller sentenced him to two years behind bars.

Hill was accused of exposing himself to a 13-year-old boy inside the gym at The Quarters on Highway 6 East in June of 2021. Video footage from the apartment complex corroborated the boy’s account.

The dismissed Indecent Exposure charge involved an incident in Coralville last June. Hill was accused of recording himself and another motorist while Hill was masturbating in his car as the two were stopped at a red light on Highway 965.

Hill was just sentenced to two years in jail last Friday after pleading guilty to a charge of Assault With Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse. Iowa City Police say in October of last year Hill groped a male trainee at Insomnia Cookies on East Washington Street while he was the business’s manager.

The two-year sentence from the incident at The Quarters is the maximum allowed for such a charge. Hill will also be forced to enter his name into the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for ten years.
