A Keokuk County man accused of exposing himself to a teenage boy has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Online records show 26-year-old Grant Hill of Keota entered the plea Monday in Johnson County Court. Hill is accused of exposing himself to a 13-year-old boy inside the gym at The Quarters on Highway 6 East in June of 2021. Video footage from the apartment complex corroborated the boy’s account.

Hill was initially charged with indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to one year, if convicted. Terms of the plea deal reached on Monday have not been released, and a sentencing date has not yet been set.

Also on Monday, Hill’s lawyers entered a motion to dismiss in an unrelated Indecent Exposure case stemming from an incident in Coralville last May. Hill is accused of recording himself and another motorist while Hill was masturbating in his car as the two were stopped at a red light on Highway 965.

Hill was just sentenced to two years in jail last Friday after pleading guilty to a charge of Assault With Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse. Iowa City Police say in October of last year Hill groped a male trainee at Insomnia Cookies on East Washington Street while he was the business’s manager.
