A Hope House resident faces charges that he stole jewelry, wallets and other items from his employer.

According to arrest records, staff at the Holiday Road facility checked the room of 40-year-old resident Jason Albaugh on Tuesday after his employer, Goodwill, reported that he had been terminated for stealing items from the store. The search reportedly turned up women’s jewelry, wallets, three debit cards and two sim cards. The merchandise that was reported stolen allegedly matched the merchandise found in Albaugh’s room.

Albaugh, who is currently residing at Hope House after previous drug convictions, was booked into the Johnson County Jail  just before 5:30 Wednesday night on a probation violation. Charges have yet to be filed relating to the reported thefts.
