An Iowa City woman is accused of sharing a sex video of her and an ex-boyfriend without his permission.
44-year-old Crystal Potter-Tanha of South Summit Street was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 7am Thursday. Iowa City Police say between April 5th and April 15th Potter-Tanha shared a video with both the man and his new girlfriend of Potter-Tanha and the alleged victim having sex. She reportedly shared the video using iMessaging and Facebook.
Police say Potter-Tanha also threatened to share other, similar intimate videos of the victim. She’s also accused of texting the alleged victim such messages as “F— you. And f— your bitch. And f— you more!”
Potter-Tanha reportedly also messaged the new girlfriend calling her a “dumb c—” a “dumb f—ing skanky c—” and a “cheating sh—y human being”.
Potter-Tanha is charged with 1st Degree Harassment and 3rd Degree Harassment. If convicted on both charges she faces a maximum of 25 months in jail.
