A Bennett Community School bus was involved in an accident Tuesday morning with six children on board.
According to a release from Cedar County, the crash happened about 7:25 Tuesday morning at Highway 130 and Washington Avenue.
The bus driver has been identified as John Hulick; the vehicle involved was driven by Gilbert Pewe. Both drivers and a child were injured in the incident and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. No details are available as to the extent of the injuries, but an e-mail form Bennett Community Schools said that all students were “accounted for and attended to.”
The crash is under investigation.
