IMCC inmate dies while serving 70-year sentence

An inmate at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center who has spent over two decades in  prison has died at the Coralville facility.

According to the Iowa Department of Corrections, 64-year-old Robert LeRoy Rosenow was pronounced dead at the IMCC on July 18th due to natural causes.
Rosenow had been serving a 70-year maximum term for multiple convictions of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse and other charges from Scott County. His sentence began on March 21, 2001.
