An area transient has been arrested for violating a no-contact order, then reportedly vandalizing the victim’s property days later.

The first incident occurred on the afternoon of July 8th, when the victim found 21-year-old Zaine Bagley-Price in the basement of her residence. He then had a conversation with the woman before leaving. An active no-contact order between the two had been in place since June 2nd.

Officers were then called to the woman’s residence on July 13th on a vandalism report. She told officers that Bagley-Price, her ex-boyfriend, had broken her vehicle’s windshield and slashed a tire. He also reportedly called the woman, and she saw Bagley-Price behind her residence near the alley. Arriving officers found Bagley-Price in the parking lot of the woman’s residence, and he allegedly ran from officers. They found him hiding a short distance away and ordered him to stop, but Bagley-Price ran again before eventually being caught.

Bagley-Price told police that he ran because he didn’t want to stop and was aware of the no-contact order.

He was taken into custody and initially charged with two counts of violating the no-contact order and interference with official acts. Bagley-Price could be sentenced to up to 90 days in jail if convicted on all charges.
