Iowa City Church lost to fire

The Iowa City Church on American Legion Road has been lost to an overnight fire.
According to the Church’s Twitter feed, the Iowa City Fire Department was called to the church at approximately 4:20 am Saturday; when they arrived, the building was totally engulfed in flames.
The tweet says members of the church will be meeting for prayer at 10 am Sunday at the location, and hope to have an alternative meeting place by next week.
The building is believed to be a total loss; cause of the fire remains under investigation.
