No charges have been filed despite a report late Friday night of an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office activity log, the Iowa State Patrol responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident just after 11:15pm in the casino parking lot on Highway 22. The caller allegedly reported that the other driver brandished a gun and stole $140 from her.
Arriving troopers later told Washington County deputies that the damage to the two vehicles was minimal and the two parties agreed to handle the matter amongst themselves.
No charges were filed.
