Iowa City Police Department conducts death investigation |
| On Tuesday May 31, 2022, the Iowa City Police Department was contacted for a welfare check on 22-year-old Alexandria Eipert. As a result of joint efforts between ICPD and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Eipert’s body was recovered on June 2.
Eipert’s death is under investigation and no foul play is suspected. The family requests privacy at this time and no further information will be released.
