A Lone Tree man who reportedly caused thousands of dollars in damage to the city’s American Legion Hall last year has been arrested.
According to deputy reports, 37-year-old Seth Westfall of North Devoe Street forced entry to the Legion just before 1 am on March 18th, 2021, damaging the main entry door, the bar exit door, a storage room door, and an arms room door. Westfall is also accused of taking approximately $800 from a lockbox.
Damage estimates exceeded $11,400.
A warrant was issued for Westfall’s arrest on May 23rd; he was taken into custody early Tuesday. He’s been charged with 1st degree Criminal Mischief, 3rd degree Burglary, and 4th degree Theft. If convicted on all counts, Westfall could be sentenced to up to sixteen years in prison.
