An Illinois man faces charges that he used the University of Iowa’s public Wi-Fi to download child pornography.

UI Police say 25-year-old Eric Wilson of Chicago uploaded a video from Tumblr using the UI Wi-Fi at MacLean Hall on the Pentacrest around 11am on March 5th, 2016. The video reportedly showed a male pleasuring himself over a nude, prepubescent female.

There is no indication if Wilson was a UI student at the time of the incident.

Wilson was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 10:15 Thursday night and charged with Possession of a Medium Depicting a Minor Involved in a Sex Act. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
