Two people were injured in a one-car accident Saturday night near Wayland.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 46-year-old Donald Simmering of Ainsworth was travelling southbound on Ash Avenue just after 7:45pm when his 2006 Chevy Trailblazer failed to negotiate a turn at 120th Street and left the roadway, entering the south ditch.
Simmering and a passenger, 47-year-old Tamara Davis of Wayland, were both transported to the Henry County Health Center with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
