Iowa City Animal Services is looking for the owner of a dog who bit an individual over the weekend.
A release from the City says that the person reported being near an apartment building in the 600 Block of South Dubuque Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday when they were bitten by a dog described as a brown and black pit bull terrier. The dog was with a woman described as being approximately 5’5″ tall.
Iowa City Animal Services is looking to locate the owner of the dog for information regarding its rabies vaccination history.
