A pair of musicians touring the country have cancelled the remainder of their April tour after being hit by a car in Iowa City.

The Daily Iowan reports that Watchhouse, formerly known as Mandolin Orange, was to perform at the Englert Theatre this past Wednesday. The day before, Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz were on a crosswalk when they were struck by a vehicle. Marlin put up a Facebook post on Wednesday showing him with a scraped forehead, and called the incident “terrifying.” He said the two were going to be fine, suffering what he said were concussions, stitches and staples.

The two originally planned to resume their tour Sunday night at Thalia Hall in Chicago, but the band’s management representative Jimmy Rhine said in an e-mail to the Daily Iowan that they decided to cancel the rest of their April tour and instead focus on getting rest and recovering.

The Englert Theatre’s site shows the Watchhouse gig as “postponed” at this time, with no posted plans on rescheduling. The duo received an outpouring of support and wishes for a speedy recovery from the Englert, fellow musicians, and fans after the Facebook post.
