A transient faces charges that he shoplifted from an Iowa City convenience store three times in less than a week.
Iowa City Police say 46-year-old Paris Alexander stole several items from Kwik Star on Keokuk Street just before midnight on March 18th, just before 3:45pm on Wednesday and just before 10pm Thursday night. All three incidents were captured on surveillance video.
Alexander has multiple previous theft convictions. He now faces three new charges of 3rd Degree Theft. If convicted on all three charges, he faces a maximum of six years in prison.
