The Community Inclusion Club of Iowa City is raising money by raffling off a $3,500 electric bicycle from Creekside eBikes in Kalona.
The new nonprofit provides socially inclusive activities for adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) where they can hang out with their non-disabled peers. In its few months of existence, the Community Inclusion Club has already hosted winter holiday parties, a bowling event, a karaoke night and a board game night. Most events have been held at the Iowa City Odd Fellows Lodge.
The $3,500 three-wheel electric bike is currently on display at the Hills Bank branch on South Gilbert Street, which is also where the raffle tickets are on-sale.
The drawing for the bike will be held in mid-April.
