The city of Ely is under a boil advisory following a water main break.
According to a message posted on the city of Ely’s web site, city staff and crews are working on repairing a major water main break. Due to the situation, several homes and all downtown businesses were without water much of Wednesday morning.
Out of an abundance of caution, there is a city-wide boil advisory in effect until further notice. Updates on the situation will be posted at elyiowa.com.
