A Williamsburg woman was killed Monday night in a one-vehicle accident in Iowa County between Victor and Ladroa.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 34-year-old Silei George was driving a 2011 Ford Edge northbound on D Avenue just before 9:45pm when she lost control of the vehicle. The car went into a ditch near the intersection with 170th Street, where it landed on its top. George was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
