A wrong-way driver hit two semis and two passenger vehicles Thursday afternoon on I380, then stripped naked and ran from the scene.
The Gazette reports the driver of a northbound Ford sport utility vehicle tried to go between a southbound semi and a passenger car. The semi flipped on its side, while the car stopped in the median with severe damage.
The SUV continued north in the southbound lanes and hit another semi and car. The car suffered severe damage, while the semi received slight damage.
The driver stopped near 42nd Street, took off his clothes, and ran from the scene before he was apprehended. The man was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The newspaper reports that police and firefighters spent over two hours extricating three people form the vehicles involved, but there were no life-threatening injuries.
No charges were filed, pending testing and interviews with the parties involved.
