Coralville mayor named to National League of Cities committee

Coralville Mayor Meghann Foster has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2022 Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee (PSCP) Federal Advocacy Committee.

That’s according to a news release from the city. Foster was elected to a one-year term and will provide strategic direction and guidance for the NLC’s federal advocacy agenda and policy priorities.

As a member of the NLC Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee, Foster will join a group of local leaders in shaping NLC’s policy positions and advocating on behalf of United States municipalities before Congress, with the presidential administration and at home.
