An area transient has been arrested after allegedly assaulting another man in a vehicle Thursday evening.
Police were called to the GuideLink Center on Southgate Avenue around 7:45 pm on witness reports of two males physically fighting. Upon arrival, the alleged victim stated that 31-year-old Taylor Vick held him inside a vehicle while punching him in the face. The victim had injuries consistent with his statement, and witnesses corroborated his story.
Vick was arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury and False Imprisonment. He could face a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.
