Coralville man arrested after investigators purchase drugs from him on separate occasions

A Coralville man who allegedly sold drugs to investigators on separate occasions has been arrested.

According to police, 21-year-old Yahwh Jeudy of East 7th Street was involved in a controlled substance purchase incident the afternoon of  October 7th at his residence. Jeudy allegedly produced 12 grams of cocaine in exchange for cash.

A second buy was negotiated in the 400 block of First Avenue the morning of October 15th. In that instance, Jeudy reportedly sold 10 grams of coke for cash.

A search warrant was executed on Jeudy’s residence on November 3rd.  Authorities allegedly located numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, several unprescribed prescription drugs, over five grams of suspected “molly” that tested positive for meth, and over 30 grams of cocaine.

A warrant was issued for Jeudy’s arrest on December 7th; he was taken into custody early Thursday morning and charged with 4 Class C controlled substance violations. If convicted on all counts, he could be sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.
