Case management conference Monday for North Liberty property manager accused of soliciting sex from at least one tenant

A case management conference is set for Monday for a North Liberty man accused of offering to pay for sex with a woman or women tenants in an apartment complex he was supervising.

Police say the incidents occurred between June 2018 and February of this year. 72-year-old Larry Baxter of Michael Street allegedly purchased and offered to purchase sex from one or more female tenants in exchange for money and favors related to his normal duties as a property manager of an apartment complex on Village Drive in North Liberty.

According to the complaint, Baxter received sex for money and favors from a tenant or tenants on three separate occasions.

Baxter faces four counts of Prostitution. He faces up to eight years in prison if convicted on all charges.
