Two Fairfield High School students face murder charges after a Spanish teacher was found dead hours after being reported missing.

66-year-old Nohena Graber had been teaching at Fairfield High since 2012. She was reported missing early Wednesday morning, and her body was found hours later in a park a few blocks from the school.

The Gazette reports that the two 16-year-olds, Willard Miller and Jeremy Goodale, will be tried as adults and face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Criminal complaints against the two teens indicate that Graber was killed by trauma to her head, and her body was concealed under a tarp, wheelbarrow and railroad ties in Chautauqua City Park. Social media messages between the two reportedly indicated the motive for killing Graber, the planning and execution of their plan, and deliberate attempts to conceal the body.

Fairfield High Schools dismissed classes at 9:30 am Thursday but support staff was available the rest of the school day for staff and students. Local law enforcement does not believe there is an ongoing risk to the public.
