A Quad Cities man faces charges that he attacked a doctor at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
UI Police say 39-year-old Darnell Bonner of Davenport was being discharged from the UIHC ER around 11:30 Thursday morning when he shoved a doctor into a wall and counter inside Room 4.
Bonner was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 1:30 Thursday afternoon and charged with Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations. If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
