A North Liberty woman faces charges that she tried to run over the father of her children with a van.
North Liberty Police say that just before 11pm Tuesday 27-year-old Elizabeth Johnson tried to hit the man with her van outside her North Front Street apartment. The two have several children together and recently lived together.
Johnson is charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of 30 days in jail.
